Overall I can't recommend the sequel. The original is great and I would put it up there with Roottrees as top notch but this one didn't strike me as hard. The story is much less compelling, the art is strangely worse, the puzzles are more obtuse and less interesting. I finished it but barely and have not touched the DLCs.

Inspired by Obra Dinn, but firmly in the deduction genre's S tier on its own merits. You solve the game scene by scene, but there's also an overarching plot to piece together and all of it just works magnificently. Ideally start with the first game, but this one is even marginally better. Strong recommendation, as well as its DLC.
