OVERVIEW: RICHTER wasn't a name I was familiar with in the Shmup spectrum. Adding to it the small number of Blazend reviews I was hesitant about purchasing.... but I enjoyed what I saw in the gameplay video here and Kanzaki Shintarou's 1cc hard mode playthrough displayed on youtube...so I went for it! Brilliant game. It really expects you to learn the levels instead of just blasting through them on your first time. Expect to die a lot, like a lot. I've only gotten past the first level once on the fair difficulty setting and the second stage is already a huge step up in terms of difficulty. Cannot recommend this game enough if you're a fan of shoot'em ups, especially difficult ones. Game also looks and sounds…
