First time I write a review for a game, but for Battle Brothers, I had to. This is probably the best game I've played in my life. I've played it more than 1000hrs already, and I'll definitely play more. The learning curve is incredible: it probably took me 100hrs just to get over the basics and start to understand the game (!). Ultra punishing and absurdly RNG based sometimes, suggest you save scum unless you love suffering. Ignoring the ultra low chance of instant death on the hedge knight you just spent $10k on, this game is as absurdly fun as it is difficult. The devs have made an absolute masterpiece, and there's a couple of overhaul mods that freshen up the game. I hope that MENACE ends up half as good as Battle Brothers :)

You know that phrase "You miss 100% of the shots you don't take?" Well, this game's phrase is: "You miss 100% of all your shots" Honestly, the game is good, but the combat (which is what the game is largely centered around), is so squirrely that I can't handle it.
