About the game

A story-driven adventure with multiple-choice dialogue, funny characters, and a light sprinkle of card battles. A friendship to mend, a world to explore, and a few opponents to beat. Not a deep card battler, just an adventure where decks can be evil. But you're in luck… yours is all ducks!

I really miss the old Single Player Videogames of TCGs, so when I heard of this game I was on board almost immediately. But my excitement died almost immediately after the prolouge. Because first thing you notice, the game you play here isn't an original game, it is inscryption. And I don't mean it's a game inspired by Insyscryption, it's straight up the same rueleset. From the way how the game board works, to how…

The demo is focused on the story and the card game; well, after that it becomes about speaking to random NPCs, doing (hard) point-and-click mini-games, finding icons / items (blank cards) set on the RPGMaker world. It stops being a real card game. Near the end of the game, the designers added some super effects to the monster cards or even the opponent (like an +1 offense every 2 turns, or an effect which stops your…
