I was enjoying the gameplay loop until I capped out on the endless mode and there is no obvious way to end endless mode and return to the town. I thought maybe clicking restart would do it, but that just reset my progress including the permanent upgrade points without any confirmation of doing so. 2 hours of progress lost and I'm now past the refund period.
