The game took a little over 160 hours to 100%. I'm someone who greatly enjoys the souls genre in general, but when I played this game for the first time back when it released, I was never able to click with it. It wasn't until Nioh 2 released and I decided to take a gamble on it where all the puzzle pieces finally fell into place. In the past, I had thought Nioh was janky and had enemies that dealt way too much…

My scalding hot take on souls like is that "if you need to make enemies 2-shot for your game to be hard, your game is a poorly designed soulslike" There's so many ways to make a souls-like challenging and fun but when a game's difficulty revolves around you getting killed in 2 hits right from the start, that's just bad game design imo. There's so much more a dev can do to make a fun challenging game, it just feels…
