It's story is complete nonesene but mechianiclly the game is super fun. Being able to target diffrent limbis is super cool, the aeras all felt intresting and challengeing for what they are and it looks pretty good but it was never striking or dynamic in any major way

Good souls like, with amazing level design. Combat is very satisfying, sound design and music is good enough. Only thing that I could criticize is the plot. The story is very predictable and quite boring. Characters are on very similar level as plot. This is a first souls like that is not created by Fromsoft that I enjoyed. If you enjoy soulslike and don't really mind bad plot this game will bring you fun.

I mostly had fun playing The Surge 2, but honestly wouldn't recommend it to anyone. If the first game was an imperfect gem, the sequel is a polished turd. Minor spoilers ahead. The visceral limb chopping combat is still fun, but that's pretty much where the positives end. The first(?) boss i had some issues with, then i realised it was going to be a parry rather than dodge based game, and things clicked. That was…
