Stories Untold is a text-based horror game that tells a terrifying story. Terrifying for a variety of reasons - one being the incredible sound design, another being the unique but cohesive visual atmospheres, and yet another being the nature of the puzzles you may encounter (puzzles which are challenging enough to be engaging, but not so incredibly challenging that you have absolutely no clue what to do next.…

Brilliant storytelling. Highly recommend going in blind. (I only needed to look up something twice because I was using the wrong verbiage and I had trouble with a certain part due to being a bit hard of hearing.) Really loved the mechanics of each section. Only sadness was that there aren't another hundred stories to pour over as this style of interactivity really scratches an itch.

More of a vision test than a game. About halfway through I realized at least you can zoom in on the microfilm reader. Otherwise, you can right click to zoom in the teeniest tiniest amount, which doesn't help in a game where there's all kinds of stuff you have to interact with that has tiny, tiny text about five feet away from you. Maybe it's just because I'm old enough to have actually experienced text adventures…
