The game both surprises you and disappoints. At first it starts slowly and you think "ah just another boring shooter where you fight monsters, find keys, unlock the doors". then you go through portal on the map and it surprises you with level and mechanics variety a bit. You're like "hmm... that's interesting". You go through portals a few more times, boom bam tadam, it's done. The game ends. Wait, what? Is that it?…

Recommended. Very solid campaign, good weapons. Really good level design. Old school doom with modernish spin on top of it. You pretty much just go and kill demons for 7hours straight.

It doesn't give the vibe of old-school shooter at all. Telling ya as an old-school veteran. Design is garish, levels are boring, enemies are stupid and easy even on the hard levels. Animation is just appaling. Auto map sucks. Basically everything about this game is meh. My eyes hurt now.
