Bright Memory: Infinite is one of those unashamedly-fun action games that puts you on a straight track from Point A to Point B, with a bunch of enemies to mow down in between… sort of like Metal Gear Rising, if it was also an FPS. Speaking of Metal Gear Rising, another similarity is that Bright Memory: Infinite is not very good at teaching you how to play itself. I didn’t even know you could slide until halfway…

The game is extremely short. I finished it in a little over 2 hours and I'm not even very good at FPS. Combat isn't very inspired and some of the sections are pretty bad (the stealth mission and the driving mission in particular). There are some cool ideas, like the pyschic pull and the hookshot, but the game never does anything interesting with them. 4/10.
