As I have finished playing all the modes, I feel like I should give my two cents. Steel Vampire is a very unique SHMUP that can't be compared to many other games, it offers something interesting and unique, but not without some issues. The music is repetitive and the bass sounds really awful. It was grating on me already early on during the games tutorial. The game wants you to manouver your ship near the top of the screen frequently and murder things almost before they've even appeared. The game is quite zoomed in too.
