solidly okay. you can feel the game was designed for mobile devices first in places, such as movement speed being horrible and burst mode having no real form of movement speed control, but the game is still playable. there's horrible bullet visiblity and balancing issues in some patterns, but what can you do. the game is still worth experiencing because of the visual flair, the soundtrack, and above all else, that…

In my opinion, this is the perfect introductory bullet hell game. It's cheap, well-balanced, and it prepares you for harder bullet hells. I highly recommend this, especially with headphones. The soundtrack is phenomenal.

The frame rate is locked at 57 FPS, causing terrible stuttering at a refresh rate of 60 Hz. That, alone, is sufficient for me to award this game an emphatic thumbs down. Incidentally, the sequel to this game - Danmaku Unlimited 3 - suffers from the exact same issue.
