About the game

Bullet Soul Infinite Burst is a vertically scrolling shooting game crossing old-school gameplay with a bullet hell twist. It adds numerous gameplay enhancements over its predecessor, Bullet Soul, not least of which is Burst Mode. The same aggressive, bullet-cancelling gameplay, now with more destruction, more coins and more tunes. Shooting fans, it's time to welcome back the true Japanese shooting experience!

Infinite Burst came out on Xbox 360 about three years after the original Bullet Soul, but on Steam, they were published only a few months apart. Having bought them about a year apart, I wish I'd known better at the time: Infinite Burst is not a sequel, just a remix of the same game. The gameplay is always centered on shooting down enemies to make their bullets disappear, but in the new main mode, Burst, they turn…

Cool mechanic. Good Anime art-style. Gameplay: Good Story: Idk if there's one honestly. lol Controls: Good Graphics: Good Length: Good Cutscenes: Good Characters: Good Game Modes: There are multiple modes, but I only played the Normal mode with Training. lol Mechanics: I like the cancel bullet mechanic, it encourages you to play aggressively. I also like the two weapon mode mechanic. Best Girl: Loop, though an…

Bullet Soul Infinite Burst is a game that on paper has everything to become one of the coolest shmups ever made and a personal favorite. It has a caravan-style scoring system with enemy waves to quick-kill, it has the Dangun Feveron item collection mechanic with falling/bouncing coins to pick up without a miss penalty as massive as in Dangun, it has a fast-paced guitar-based soundtrack that fits the action, it has…
